Electrolysis is the only FDA approved permanent hair removal. Paula Fritch is a registered Electrologist. She is Bloodborne Pathogen and OSHA certified.
Laser hair removal, waxing, and shaving all bring the hair back over days or years. There are two forms of electrolysis. Depending on your skin, Paula will use her expert knowledge to decide which method will be most effective for you.
How It Works:
A fine probe is inserted into each hair follicle. A reaction then takes place that stops that follicle from producing hair. Once done, the current hair is plucked from the follicle, leaving that area smooth.
What You Need To Be Ready:
In order for a hair to be treated, it needs to be long enough that it can be pulled with a tweezer.
Does It Hurt?
A tingling sensation occurs at the follicle. The probe is only inserted for a very brief period before your electrolygist moves on to the next follicle. The machine is also customizable and the strength of the reaction can be increased or decreased, depending on your comfort level.
How Long Will It Take?
Session times can vary from 15 minutes to several hours, depending on your preference. Every person has their hair grow at different rates, so completion of an area varies per person.
Have alcohol or witch hazel, cotton rounds, and aloe vera to soothe the area.
